Assemblymember Levine Hosts Civics Camp, Urges Community Involvement

(Sacramento) – California State Assemblymember Marc Levine (D-San Rafael) hosted a “Civics Camp” at Santa Rosa Junior College to invite people of all ages to get involved in their communities.  Local leaders spoke about the importance of civic engagement and how to actively participate in shaping state and local policies and legislation.  Watch this Assembly Access Video hear more about Civics Camp and making a difference.

Assemblymember Levine Host Civics Camp in Santa Rosa

(Santa Rosa, CA) – California State Assemblymember Marc Levine (D-San Rafael) hosted an event aimed at getting young people involved in their communities.  The event called, “Civics Camp,” was held at Santa Rosa Junior College and included local leaders who shared their experiences and knowledge with attendees. It was a chance to engage and promote the exchange of ideas about how to make communities better and create opportunities for civic engagement.
