(Sacramento) – California State Assemblymember Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) was sworn-in to office, along with 38 other members of the Assembly’s freshman class.  Assemblymember Holden feels blessed and is excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for California.  Assemblymember Holden wants to get Californians working again by spurring economic development and helping small businesses.  Hear more from Assemblymember Holden in this Assembly Access Video.

SACRAMENTO – Assembly Member Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) was sworn in today as the representative of the new 41st Assembly District, and the Majority Whip of the Assembly Democratic Caucus. Holden's inaugural legislative effort, introduced today, is a bill addressing economic development and jobs creation. AB 9 notes that California workers and businesses face the harshest economic conditions since the Great Depression. Unemployment in California remains in double digits.
