The legislation, AB 979, is joint authored by Assemblymembers Chris Holden, Cristina Garcia, and David Chiu, with Eloise Gomez Reyes as principal co-author.

‘George Floyd Law’ Passes First Policy Committee

Sacramento, CA – Assemblymember Chris Holden’s police reform legislation, AB 1022, passed in the Senate Public Safety Committee today with a 5-1 vote.
