Truth to Protect Youth Passes Committee

Sacramento, CA – Today, Assemblymember Chris Holden’s bill,  Juvenile Custodial Interrogations bill  which prohibits the use of statements made by youth (25 years of age or younger) as evidence in criminal or juvenile court proceedings if they were made during interrogations where law enforcement used threats, physical harm, deception, or psychologically manipulative tactics.

Pasadena (CA) – Assemblymember Chris Holden and the California Legislative Black Caucus announced the availability of applications for African-American Leaders of tomorrow (AALT) conference – a four-day residential summer program from July 20 – 23, 2022, for high school freshmen and sophomores on the campus of California State University Dominquez Hills (CSUDH).
