Your Input Matters: Mortgage Forbearance Act (AB 238)

We are pleased that Assembly Bill 238, the Mortgage Forbearance Act, has been signed into law. This law provides mortgage payment forbearance for homeowners in wildfire-affected areas for up to one year, giving families time and flexibility to recover without the immediate burden of mortgage payments.

I want to hear from you. As you navigate forbearance under AB 238, are you encountering any challenges with your lender or mortgage servicer? Your feedback will help us understand how the law is working and where additional support may be needed.

Take a moment to share your experience.
