State Assemblyman Chris Holden's Block Party Was a Doggone Success

“…And a good time was had by all” at Saturday’s annual “41st Assembly District Block Party” hosted by Assemblymember Chris Holden.

It was the 20th annual go-round for this Pasadena staple inviting community members to an open discussion on issues related to their lives while enjoying live music, a classic car show, and more.

There was plenty for kids to enjoy.

When Holden first launched the affair, he was Pasadena City Councilmember.

Robin’s Wood Fire BBQ restaurant dished out free hot dogs and lemonade to participants, and free school backpacks to kids as well.

Holden’s 41st District encompasses most of the San Gabriel Mountains and various foothill communities. The District is anchored by Pasadena, its largest and westernmost city.
