Assemblymember Chris Holden Welcomes New Legislative Staff

Sacramento, CA – Today, Assemblymember Holden is proud to welcome KaBria Payden and Catherine Charles as new additions to the Legislative Team.  KaBria brings a wealth of knowledge from the Office of the Chief Clerk. Prior to joining Team Holden, she worked in community coalition building in Elk Grove, The Rising that she co-founded in 2020, that strives to use education and dialogue to create a safe and inclusion environment for all African descendants. KaBria graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology.

“I am excited to have not one, but two passionate and hard-working legislative aides join my team,” said Assemblymember Chris Holden.

Catherine Charles joins the team from Senator Bob Hertzberg’s Office where she worked on judiciary and labor policies. She also has experience in political campaigns and has publications with Center for Juvenile Law & Policy and the Pirandello Society of America. Catherine graduated from the University of California, Davis with a dual Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Italian.

“As KaBria and Catherine have hit the ground running with their respective bills and policy areas, I am looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together for this new legislative season,” said Holden.
