(Pasadena) – The ongoing drought and upcoming Fourth of July holiday have fire fighters and local officials on high alert regarding what they believe could be one of the worst fire seasons in years. California State Assemblymember Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) is urging residents to take precautions and have their emergency plans in place. Assemblymember Holden and his fellow lawmakers have slated millions to go to extra state firefighting efforts.
“The Legislature and the Governor passed a budget which includes $90 million additional that will go to fire prevention, fire safety this year,” said Assemblymember Holden.
