(Los Angeles) - Assemblymember Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) was part of the California Legislative Black Caucus’ informational briefing at the California African American Museum to discuss the importance of Assembly Concurrent Resolution 71. ACR 71, sponsored by the California Legislative Black Caucus, is intended to highlight the legacy and invaluable contribution of California’s Africana Studies departments and programs and other related academic disciplines. As the hearing began Assemblymember Holden praised the CLBC for its efforts, “This is a Caucus that focuses on important issues and tries to look at ways to be effective in representing the African-American community.” Here’s more in this Assembly Access video.
