(LOS ANGELES) In a private ceremony in the "Vin Scully Press Box" at Dodger Stadium, Assemblymembers Chris Holden (AD – 41), Jimmy Gomez (AD – 51), Melissa Melendez (AD – 67) and Donald Wagner (AD – 68) presented Assembly Concurrent Resolution 195 to Vincent “Vin” Scully, recognizing his exceptional 67 year-long career with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Assemblymember Chris Holden stated, “Vin Scully is a Los Angeles treasure. He is a legend beyond sports, and for the district I represent, he is a living connection to Pasadena’s own Jackie Robinson. We have been blessed to have Mr. Scully narrate the game of baseball for so many decades, and this resolution is just a small token of our appreciation.”
