Sacramento – Assemblymember Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) released the following statement on today’s passage of a final budget for the 2015-16 year. It now goes to Governor Brown for signature before going into effect July 1.

Assemblymember Holden Honors Claremont Resident “Small Business Of The Year”

Sacramento – In a ceremony in Sacramento, Assembly Majority Leader Chris Holden honored Claremont resident Andy Dale, owner of Dale Brothers Brewery in Upland as the “Small Business of the Year” for the 41st Assembly District. Andy and his brother and co-owner, Curt  travelled to Sacramento Wednesday to receive their award.

“I am very pleased to recognize the Dale brothers for their dedication to their craft and volunteerism in Claremont, Upland and the surrounding communities,” said Assemblymember Holden.  “They are a success not only for their hard work and dedication to the business, but because they give so much back to their communities with regular fundraisers for charitable organizations.”

Sacramento – The Assembly today overwhelmingly approved Assemblymember Chris Holden’s (D-Pasadena) bill to help students in underserved communities gain access to advanced coursework in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Computer Science classes.
